O n November 29, the Public Relations and Information Center hosted the delegation headed by Jafar Khashe, Head of the Caucasus Studies Institute at the University of Tehran, Iran. Issues on deepening of cooperation between the two centers were discussed at the meeting. There was also an expert discussion with the participation of Orbeli Center’s experts on regional developments and Armenia-Iran relations. 

The memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the two centers was signed in December, 2021, within the framework of which online discussions and webinars on regional issues were organized throughout the year, also with the involvement of Russian partners. An agreement was reached to carry out follow-up works, such as joint discussions, research and mutual visits, aimed at strengthening and expanding cooperation next year as well.
