On July 3, the meeting between Davit Tonoyan, Defense Minister of Armenia and experts took place at “Orbeli” analytical-research center. 

Greeting the participants of the meeting, the Minister of Defense particularly emphasized the importance of analytical centers in studying global and regional trends and presenting them to the public. 

Later, the Minister presented the latest developments in military and security field.

Answering the questions of the participants, Davit Tonoyan touched upon the issues of providing logistics support to the Armed Forces, acquiring modern weapons as well as developing military industry in Armenia. The Minister of Defense presented the work done by Armenian deminers and doctors, assessments of the humanitarian structures. They also discussed the issues on international military cooperation of the Republic of Armenia.
