Biography

Johnny Melikyan studied at the Department of International Relations (Faculty of Political Science) at the Russian-Armenian University, graduating in 2007. He continued his postgraduate studies at the Chair of World Politics and International Relations at the same university, completing them in 2010.

From 2010 to 2012, he worked at the Center of Caucasus Studies and the Problems of the Middle East, which later became the Scientific Center for Regional Studies. From 2011 to 2013, he was employed at the Public Relations and Information Center at the Office of the President of the Republic of Armenia. Between 2016 and 2017, he worked at the Center for Political Studies within the Noravank Scientific Educational Foundation.

From 2014 to 2021, he served as a Research Fellow at the Center for Regional Studies of the RA Public Administration Academy. Since 2019, he has been working at the Public Relations and Information Center of the Office of the Prime Minister of RA.

He is the co-author of several scientific articles and a book.
