Will we survive these shocks?

T he Russian-Ukrainian conflict caused significant shocks and uncertainties not only in the region but also worldwide, and led to a revision of the positive forecasts early in the year. Although these estimates will be refined many times by the end of the year, however, according to the current quantitative estimates, we can get some idea of the expected economic developments, as well as find out how much the negative developments will affect the budget system of Armenia and what problems the fiscal policy may face. Given the fact that the shocks are also a significant threat to fiscal stability, the article assessed the compliance of the results with the current fiscal rules.
