Orbeli Center Welcomes Arunansh B. Goswami as Visiting Fellow

I ndian attorney, historian, and geopolitical analyst Mr. Arunansh B. Goswami is joining the Orbeli Center as a Visiting Fellow.

During his fellowship, Mr. Goswami will conduct research on Indian foreign policy in the South Caucasus and Indo-Armenian relations, contributing his deep expertise to this critical subject.

Mr. Arunansh B. Goswami is a distinguished attorney, historian, and geopolitical analyst from India. A top achiever throughout his academic career, he graduated in history and political science from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, and later obtained his LL.B. from the prestigious Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi. He also holds a diploma in International Environmental Law and has earned certificates in Public Financial Management (IMF), Christian Studies (Yale Divinity School), and the American Legal System (University of Pennsylvania).

A member of the Supreme Court Bar Association of India, Mr. Goswami serves as Head of Research for the Scindia family of Gwalior, a prominent royal family that has produced several leading figures in Indian politics. The current family head, His Excellency Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, serves as India’s Union Minister of Communications and North Eastern Development, having previously held the posts of Union Minister of Civil Aviation and Steel.

A dedicated reader and traveler, Mr. Goswami has visited multiple conflict zones across the globe. His prolific body of work, which spans over a hundred articles on law, geopolitics, history, and foreign policy, has been featured in respected publications worldwide, including the Indian Defence Review Journal and The Historian Magazine (UK). He has also delivered talks at prestigious events, including the Welsh Parliament and the University of Arizona.

Mr. Goswami is a staunch advocate of the Republic of Armenia in India and looks forward to advancing the relationship between the two nations through his research and engagement at the Orbeli Center.
